I started using Twitter in July 2009, and at first was totally overwhelmed by the CONSTANT stream of information, and I spent hours trying to read what everyone was saying! Haha I have to laugh about that now that I'm an 'old hand' at Twitter, and I've learnt the tricks of the trade :-)
I use Hootsuite as my browser-based Twitter management tool, and I LOVE IT!
You don't need to know that I manage 8 Twitter profiles (yikes!) but here I am confessing, as though that makes it ok haha.
Two accounts I post on daily, and the rest I tweet on weekly - most are business-related and in alignment with my own business interests, and one or two are more personal, for things I don't want to share on my more professional Twitter accounts.
Hootsuite makes all this so easy, and I know there are other solutions just like Hootsuite, but after trying a few it was the one product which I liked using the most. You should check out some of the others and see which one suits you :-)
