New Support Ticket System for Teena
As you all know, I have a Support Centre in place to answer all your questions about hosting your websites. Every now and then I receive emails from clients, sometimes going back and forth over days / weeks, discussing different things, and I've been looking for a better way of handling these emails and tracking them to make sure they're solved.
I've found a solution which looks pretty good, so I've set up a new system -- if you need assistance (other than for Support Centre hosting questions), you can contact me by posting a message here:
If it's a question which is best dealt with by the Support Centre, you'll receive a response to that effect. If not, I'll be answering the questions. This is the main way for my clients to contact me now - if you try it out, please let me know what you think. All feedback is welcomed!
Client question #01: "Why doesn't my website appear in the search results??"
I've received this question a few times recently, and the best way to answer is with a couple of quick videos, explaining how to search for your website (and you may be surprised to hear that it's not how you think), plus a brief discusson on keywords (to help you with your search engine optimisation (SEO)).

Client question #02: "What are SERPS??"
This internet acronym is worth knowing - it stands for:
S -- SEARCH
E -- ENGINE
R -- RESULTS
P -- PAGES
S -- simply adds a plural to the word 'page".
So whenever you are searching for something on a search engine like Google or Bing etc, and you end up with pages of results, they are known as SERPS.
Client question #03: "How will visitors find my website?"
Q: I just started a small business called FRENCH FLAIR DESIGN. When I search Google.com, there are 195,000 results!

Part of item 6 is: "Remember, every page of your website is a 'landing page' - you never know what your visitor clicked to land on any page, so assume each page is like a home page, give info so they know what THIS page is about and what the WEBSITE is about."
