Using Google Webmaster Tools

As a website owner, you need to know that there are some great f-r-e-e tools online where you can keep an eye on your website. You don't need to be super-technical, but if you find this a bit tricky, ask someone else to check your site for you.

What's in Google Webmaster Tools?

Once you sign up, you will have access to the Dashboard. In here you will find some great tools to help you keep on top of your website. You'll be able to:

• See how Google crawls and indexes your site and learn about specific problems we're having accessing it
• View, classify, and download comprehensive data about internal and external links to your site with new link reporting tools
• Tell us about your pages with Sitemaps: which ones are the most important to you and how often they change
