"How do I create content for my website?" This is one of THE most-asked questions I hear from stressed website owners who think they don't have the time, or even the inclination, to add more content to their website.
As we all (should) know, adding great focussed content to your site alerts those excitable little search engine robots that you have new juicy information on your website - new content - and that they should come visit and see what it's all about.
When those little rascals arrive, they LOVE to find new keyword-rich content to add to their database, AND to add to their Knowledgebase - about your website.
Think of it this way, if you have 5 million competitors in Google or Yahoo or Bing search results, which pages do you think will rise to the top of the list, and land on page 1?
- a 5 page website built around your offline brochure, with no SEO (search engine optimization) to be seen?
- or a website where the owner knows enough about keywords to add new content each week, to keep FEEDING the search engine robots, and bringing them back?
I know which one works :-) and yes, it's the second one.
