Autoresponders - what are they?
The first time I heard the word autoresponder I didn't have a clue what it meant.
Over the years I've come to rely on my autoresponders - they are like the silent elves who help us in the background.
Picture this - you've built a great website, you've got a call to action on every page, you ask the visitors to call you.
But the phone's not ringing ... and you don't know why.
Just think about the number of websites you might visit a day, a week, a month. If you want to know more, do you feel like phoning them all? Of course you don't. That where autoresponders come in - a little bit of code on your site, where visitors can get more information from you without having to pick up the phone. You could create an autoresponder series of 7 email, or 10, or 20 - whatever you like. Each email in the series will have a bit of info about your business and products, and your contact details. You set when these emails are sent - one per day, one per week, one per month etc.
Your potential customers signs up, receives their weekly snippets of really interesting info about your products and services, and over time they decide to buy. I love autoresponders and use them on my other websites too - sign up for a free demo and see if they might just help you too. I've used many company's autoresponders, but Aweber is definitely the best.
