Here are 7 top tips for video marketing your fabulous video you're just about to upload to Youtube.

Once you've identified your major long-tail keyword phrase for your business/video:

1. create a Youtube account in the name of "long tail keyword phrase", for example "buy homes santa barbara", or "dog training newcastle"; use as many matching keywords as possible.

2. Use the exact same long-tail keywords in your Youtube Description.

3. Add another 4 or 5 paragraphs to the Youtube Description, use this as your opportunity to SELL your services, OFFER your freebies etc, and put your URL in there again, plus maybe a longer URL to go read something on your site, or sign up for your newsletter etc.

4. Use your keyword phrase naturally a few more times in the Description.

5. Let your personality shine in the Description, let the folks get to know you. Most current Descriptions are waaaay too short.

6. To climb up the SERPS (search engine results pages) you need to make it easy for the search engines to know what your keywords are, so you need to reinforce the long-tail keyword phrase.

7. Write a blog post, post on Posterous, send a Tweet, add to your Facebook page, use one of many simple social media ways to link BACK to the Youtube video to give it incoming links, saying people like this. Youtube/Google LOVE this :-)

If you follow these tips for each video before you upload them, you'll be helping your videos be found online for their keywords and also helping to send traffic back to the main website.
