How to add 125px Ads to your WP Thesis Website

If you would like to earn some revenue from your website, adding advertisers could be a good fit.

One of the Ad Manager plugins I've found does a great job, and I've made a quick video tutorial to show you how easy it is to use.

Install & Activate

• install the MyAdManager Plugin and activate it on the Plugins page
• you will now see MYADMANAGER as a menu button at the bottom of your left hand sidebar
• click MYADMANAGER to add, edit your ads

in the ADD AD part of the screen:

• name the ad
• add the DESCRIPTION in the ALT field (this will show on hover over the image)
• in URL OF AD IMAGE paste the url for the ad image which you've already uploaded via the Media menu button in your left sidebar
• in TARGET URL paste the link/url of the destination website, this is the page which will appear when the ad is clicked
• for DURATION choose a week or month
• for TYPE, always select OUTSIDE for ads going to other websites (choose Home if you are using the Ad Manager to put your own ads in for your own webpages)
• click the ADD ADD button.

Continue to ad advertising images if required.

Managing MyAdManager

In the left Menu sidebar click MYADMANAGER to see the other options.

Select MYADMANAGER OPTIONS to specify how many ads and other options for your website.

How to Add Ads to the Page

In the left sidebar:

• select APPEARANCE
• click WIDGETS
• drag the widget MYADMANAGER into position on the right of the screen.
