Just spent a crazy half an hour trying to print from Google Docs and before you ask, yes, I did reboot my computer :-)

I hadn't had this issue before and I've been using Google Docs for a few years. I searched on Google for similar reports and see this is a recurring thread across the internet over the past few years.

So being an inventive little possum, I stopped trying to get the Print icon to work :-)

If I simply used quick keys to Print, the printer fired up ... but all I got was the browser window info printed - not the actual document.

SOLVED! My solution

Select File/Download As ...

and select your file type. I like Open Office so I selected "odt", which also launched that software, and after I quickly checked that the document looked fine, I printed it.

All of this took a few short minutes, and it may work for you too :-)
