Do you have a quick tip to boost my website online?
"Hey Teena, do you have a quick tip to boost my website online?"
.............................
Wondering what you can do to boost your website online - fast?
Web visitor Terry said this week, "Do you have a quick tip to boost my website online?" - excellent question Terry!
The quick answer is, "Yes! There are a few quick tricks to use straight away!"
Ready? Roll up those sleeves, and make sure you won't be interrupted for at least an hour, while you work on these quick tips to boost your website online.

- Got a blog? Write a post (or page) with a link back to ONE page on your site right now (don't always make this the Home page).
Ongoing: Add a new blog post each day for the next week, and make sure to talk about a DIFFERENT page of your website in each post - with a link back to THAT page on your site.
Don't have a blog? Make one today at http://Blogger.com or http://Wordpress.com
Ongoing: Add a new blog post each day for the next week, and make sure to talk about a DIFFERENT page of your website in each post - with a link back to THAT page on your site.
Got a Squidoo Lens (page)? Sign up at http://Squidoo.com and write a post about a DIFFERENT page on your website.
Ongoing: Add a new article or post each day for the next week, and make sure to talk about a DIFFERENT page of your website in each post - with a link back to THAT page on your site.
These incoming links from AUTHORITY well-known sites will boost your website's credibility, especially the Blogger.com one (it's in the Google family :-)
Do this for a week, and the search engine robots will see how busy you've been, and come scurrying over to see what all the fuss is about.
"How can I let the search engine robots know I've been busy?"
This great question came from Meryl, and ties in perfectly with my answer above to Terry.
Each time you create a new page/post/article ANYWHERE, pop over to this site and post the URL for that specific page:
You don't have to sign up for an account, just paste the link and go!
Your URL will be sent off to about 30 places who accept URLs - this is an excellent habit to get into, where you take control and let those little search robots know you've been busy :-)
OK - that's it, get cracking! Let me know how you get on, whether you found it easy to create a blog post or page in this way; I'd love to hear how it went.
You can chat with me on Twitter or Facebook - click these buttons to pop over there now (to chat on Facebook, all you need to do is click the LIKE button at the top of the page, and then you'll be able to post comments). See you soon!
Cheers
Teena
