Hi Andy, this is so easy to do you'll wonder why you spent so much time trying to work it out :-)

The best part of this answer is that you do this WITHIN your Wordpress.org website, not by using a drawing or image program (unless you want to).

In today's quick video, I show you how to :
-- login to your Wordpress.org website 
-- open the Page or Post
-- turn on additional menu items (the 'kitchen sink')
-- view the page in Full Screen Mode (and how to exit)
-- select the image (you can also upload if you need to do that)
-- click the Edit icon to make changes
-- choose Advance Settings
-- scroll down to Border, and select 20, 40, 60 pixels depending on your image
-- save and Publish to the internet.
